Most buildings currently rely on traditional water meters, which use a time-consuming and outdated method of manual data collection. This process is not only labour-intensive but also prone to errors.
The proposed Smart Meter Monitoring System addresses these challenges by introducing automation, real-time data analytics, and seamless integration with existing analogue systems. The project aims to automate and streamline the monitoring process, simplifying data collection to reduce labour and increase efficiency.
It will enable continuous tracking of usage while enhancing data accuracy and facilitating deeper analysis. Additionally, the system is designed to be compatible with existing water meters, ensuring it can operate alongside current analogue water meters without requiring extensive upgrades.
Finally, it will provide trend predictions and alerts for abnormalities, offering valuable insights into usage patterns and notifying users of any irregularities. This project aims to transform how utilities are monitored, making the process more efficient and reliable for building management.
